PASIR MAS | Aug 31 is meaningful for Mohamad Merdeka Che Soh.
The former teacher of SMK Tendong celebrated his 65th birthday today, which is National Day.
Mohamad Merdeka said his birthday celebration was attended by family members and friends.
“I am happy as I could finally invite a few friends to attend my birthday. “Like others who celebrate their birthday today, I’m grateful and proud to be part of history,” said the father of five.
Mohamad Merdeka, who retired in 2017, said he looks forwards to celebrating bigger birthday bashes.
This year, he caught up with friends and enjoyed food while watching the National Day parade on television.
“The parade and other activities there were colourful and attractive.
